Emily has been performing with a self-contained solo act, SoloCello, for events and weddings since 2017, offering a wide repertoire and the perfect ambience for special moments and events. Equipped with her own PA and able to have the cello simply acoustic or mic'd for larger gatherings, Emily uses carefully selected backing tracks to accompany her warm, uplifting cello sound to create a beautiful vibrant atmosphere for any event. From classical to jazz, film, tangos, pop and Bollywood music with backing ranging from gentle piano to lively beats according to your taste.
Weddings
A booking for the wedding ceremony includes:
Music for the guests arriving
Music for the bridal entrance
Music for the signing of the register
Exit music for the married couple
Additional time can be booked for the reception of 1 or 2 hours, or alternatively for the reception only.
Venues have included Chesterfield Mayfair, Brighton Grand, The Ravenswood and many others.
Asian Weddings
SoloCello is an ideal act for the drinks reception offering Bollywood tracks with pop and the possibility to mic up or use the electric cello for larger gatherings. Venues have included Ascot and Twickenham Rugby Stadium.
Corporate and Private Events
From the launch of luxury apartments to private art views, corporate dinners, memorials and special birthday parties, SoloCello offers the ideal musical accompaniment to suit special occasions for up to 250 people.
